This is nothing new – an astonishing number of things you’ll find in any GP’s office or home are drug-company branded gifts. Stationery, manchester, gadgets & edibles are the norm. It doesn’t sound like Vioxx gave anything unusually expensive to doctors, according to that article. I think the bigger issue is ensuring more thorough drug testing.
