Go Transit Media Group secures major Sydney bus market contract

Australia’s largest privately owned transit advertising company Go Transit Media Group has continued to expand its presence in the nation’s largest market after securing a major Sydney bus contract with Interline Bus Services.

The exclusive contract commences in February 2020 and expands Go Transit’s market reach across the Greater Sydney market which now includes Interline’s scheduled bus services in the Sydney Metropolitan Bus Region 2 covering heavily populated markets including Campbelltown, Minto, Raby, Macquarie Fields, Ingleburn, Bow Bowing, Liverpool, Edmondson Park, Oran Park, Leppington.

This is in addition to coverage available in Inner Western Sydney, South West Sydney, Western Sydney and Southern Sydney with major suburbs including Blacktown, Penrith,
Bankstown, Punchbowl, Sutherland, Cronulla and Parramatta. As well as the Blue Mountains, Illawarra and the Central Coast

General Manager Operations Caleb Harriott said the increased coverage area within Sydney was important for current and future clients who were seeking to reach a broader cross section of the Sydney market.

“Sydney is an important market for our business, it’s densely populated and geographically diverse which makes it ideal for bus transit advertising. We are finding more and more local and international brands are embracing this opportunity in a market cluttered with digital
disruption,’ Mr Harriott said.

Go Transit’s Group national sales manager Paula Kerr said independent research indicated that transit and outdoor advertising is becoming increasingly popular as advertisers sought new ways to cut through cluttered and fragmented traditional markets.

“We operate in over 90 markets across Australia offering external and internal bus advertising, as well as taxi and outdoor light rail opportunities on the Gold Coast and
Newcastle so we have a good feel for what’s working in each specific market,” Paula said.
