Gold Coast fest signs sponsorship deal
The Gold Coast Film Festival has signed sponsorship agreements with Australia Fair Shopping Centre and Birch Carroll and Coyle Australia Fair Cinemas.
The deal ensures a home for the former Gold Coast Film Fantastic event for the next three years, following a 90 percent increase in attendance between the 2008-2009 editions.
The festival counts with the support of the Gold Coast City Council and Screen Queensland. Festival director Casey Marshall Siemer is currently looking for screening sponsors.
The GCFF will be held November 10-16 at Southport at the Australia Fair Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinemas and Southport Broadwater Parklands. It will feature free film industry workshops, and a showcase of local filmmakers.
