Google uses bush poetry to promote Google.org Impact Challenge

Google has promoted its Google.org Impact Challenge in a campaign which uses bush and slam poetry read by biomedical engineer and inventor, Dr. Jordan Nguyen.

The ad, created by independent ad agency The Hallway, aims to highlight the ways in which some Australian companies and organisations are working with technology to make the world a better place.

The one minute spot shows the way technology has helped the world and encourages Australian businesses to “stop dreaming of a better world and make one”.

Simon Lee, partner and ECD at The Hallway, said in a statement: “We all dream of a better world, but there are amazing Australian organisations working with technology right now to make that world a reality. We’re honoured to have the opportunity to help drive awareness of these organisations and the contribution the Google Impact Challenge makes to them.”

The Google.org challenge is in its third year of operation and aims to support and discover the next generation of Australian innovators who are making a local and global impact.
