Grin Creative appoints Carrie Hutchinson as head of content

Carrie Hutchinson has been appointed head of content at Grin Creative. Hutchinson replaces Anna Kantilaftas who took on the role in January 2018.

Hutchinson is a former editor of Get Lost magazine and will oversee the editorial team at Grin Creative as well as resuming the editing of Get Lost.

Grin Creative produces Get Lost, Luxury Escapes magazine and recently launched Avalon Inbound Outbound, which is the official magazine of Avalon Airport.

The company also provides design and content solutions for a variety of businesses and organisations, including Bench Africa, Melbourne Zoos Victoria, Mercy Health, Australian Made, City of Melbourne and the Jewish Holocaust Centre.

Grin Creative founder and director Justin Jamieson said Hutchinson’s appointment comes at a very exciting time for the business.

“After the successful launch of Avalon Inbound Outbound, we’ve been contracted to produce another four issues over the coming 12 months, plus we have a multitude of other exciting projects ready to launch,” said Jamieson.

“Carrie has a lot of experience in the industry – she’s edited both consumer and custom magazines and has written for publications all over the world. She brings knowledge, skills and contacts built up over many years to Grin and will be a valuable addition to the team – again.”
