GroupM Australia announces new group director of commerce strategy

GroupM Australia has announced the appointment of a new group director of commerce strategy.

The company publicly announced the news on Monday, confirming Leah Jackson for the role.

Jackson, who will work closely with managing director of commerce, Marc Lomas, moves over to GroupM having previously worked as head of consumer engagement marketing at Foxtel and customer experience and UX lead at Dyson.

Most recently, Jackson worked at Goodman Fielder as head of digital, media and marketing effectiveness.

“Leah’s extensive client-side experience, spanning both trade and brand marketing, combined with her unique expertise in fully integrated planning and execution, makes her ideally suited to drive our commerce initiatives and deliver exceptional results for our clients,” Lomas said.

“Her appointment underscores our commitment to shaping the future of media and achieving superior outcomes in the dynamic e-commerce and retail media landscape.”
