GroupM to recruit students for its paid graduate program at Mumbrella360

Students interested in starting a career in media will have the opportunity to win a place in GroupM’s paid grad program at Mumbrella360 in June.

20 final-year students will be recruited from the event to join GroupM’s media agencies – Maxus, MEC, MediaCom and Mindshare – in a paid graduate programme starting in January next year.

The successful students will receive training and work on client briefs to create a campaign from scratch, also joining a client team to learn more about the job.

To assist in choosing the 20 students, GroupM will use game-based tests to uncover students’ personalities, with each student given a free login to complete one of the M Grad program’s online psychometric tests.

As part of the M Grad Student Career Day on 8 June, each of the GroupM agencies (Maxus, MEC, MediaCom and Mindshare) will show interactive presentations on how the media, marketing and communications worlds work including talks from previous successful M Grad graduates.

Elissa Good-Omozusi, chief HR and talent officer at GroupM, said: “In a job market that is more competitive than ever, we can’t afford to sit back and wait for graduates to come to us.

“Our goal with the Career Day is to educate young talent about the plethora of rewarding and inspiring careers in media and advertising. We’ve recruited some incredibly bright, talented and enthusiastic graduates through M Grad in the past and we’re looking forward to meeting our industry’s future leaders at this year’s Mumbrella360.”

Students can register on the Mumbrella 360 website.
