Gruen series 11 returns to the ABC on 25 September

Series 11 of the ABC’s advertising panel show, Gruen, will go to air at 8:30pm on Wednesday, 25 September.

Comedian and executive producer of the program Wil Anderson returns to the hosting seat, while adland veterans Todd Sampson and Russel Howcroft will be by his side as panellists. This series will feature Campaign Edge’s Dee Madigan, One Green Bean’s Claire Salvetti, BMF’s Christina Aventi, and creative director Karen Ferry.

The ABC said this series will also play host to some fresh faces.

The panellists will have plenty to work with, the ABC said.

“This year we’ve already seen Instagram influencers stripped of their influence, Gillette abandon masculinity only to embrace it again, and supermarkets ditch plastic shortly before enticing kids to collect Ooshies,” the broadcaster said.

“Join the Gruen team as they run a finely-honed bullshit detector over everything that happens next.”

Last year’s premiere of Gruen had an overnight metro audience of 734,000. Series 10 concluded with 688,000 metro viewers.
