Guide Dogs launches ad to celebrate bond with man’s best friend
Guide Dogs Queensland has launched its first TV ad in over five years.
The “Guiding Star” ad, created by BCM shows the journey for a man and his guide dog as they travel through the city.
Kevin Moreland, BCM agency partner, said: “The TVC celebrates the strong bond between man and his ‘best friend’. Most people would not think twice about a simple trip through the city, but for the visually impaired it can be a daunting task. The commercial shows the gift of independence and confidence that a guide dog gives their client.”
The pro bono project was developed in conjunction with director Terry Straight of Table Top Films.
The ads will air as 45 and 30 second Community Service Announcements throughout Queensland.
