Gumtree announced as headline partner for Mumbrella Automotive Marketing Summit, Melbourne
Richard Dicello, Head of Motors for Gumtree will be showcasing industry-first research as part of a Headline Partnership at Mumbrella’s Automotive Marketing Summit.
At the summit, Richard Dicello, Gumtree’s Head of Motors will share Gumtree Cars’ “Connecting the Disconnected” research, which was commissioned by Gumtree and executed by Brandspark International. More than 1,000 Australian car buyers and 100 Australian car dealers were surveyed for this research, and its findings identify critical areas of opportunity for automotive retailers wanting to build stronger connections and optimise their marketing strategies. The research also expands on learnings Gumtree Cars have collected on creating scalable business models that offer true partnerships, more connections and innovative retail solutions to advertisers and clients.
Gumtree is currently Australia’s number one destination for privately listed cars and has a vision of becoming Australia’s number one motors marketplace. The brand’s strategy has gone from strength to strength in recent years, creating one of the best marketing solutions for dealers and advertisers with a combination of scale, data, and insights. The platform collects 3m live listings across hundreds of categories and 7m unique visitors per month. Nearly a quarter of these users intend to buy a car in the next year and these ‘auto intenders’ spend an average of 34 minutes per session on the site. In the summit session, Dicello will present data insights, and share the strategies that have enabled the business to bridge the divide between data and customer service.
