The Hallway hires BMF client services director Bec Morton

Bec MortonIndependent creative agency The Hallway has appointed former BMF client services director Bec Morton to the newly-created role head of client management.

Morton had worked with BMF for a number of years, starting with the agency at the beginning of 2005 as a senior account manager. She moved up through the ranks as a senior account director and a group account director before taking on the client director role in June 2012.

Morton said in a statement: “I’m really excited to have joined the passionate team at The Hallway.   The agency is going from strength to strength and I look forward to playing my part in our continued growth.”

Prior to BMF, Morton worked for Boomerang for two years as an account manager and for Brett Goulston and Associates for two years as a key account manager.

She has experience managing a wide variety of clients including Aldi, Meat and Livestock Australia, BPAY, Ferrero, Luxottica, ING Direct, Expedia, The Athletes Foot and Fraser’s Property Group.

The Hallway’s managing partner Jules Hall said in a statement: “We’ve had a stellar year with new business and existing client growth. Bec rounds out our eight-strong management team, making it a straight 50/50 female/male split. She’s best in breed client services and a perfect fit for The Hallway.”

Morton will work across all of The Hallway’s clients including Tourism Queensland, InsuranceLine, Qantas, ASX, eHarmony, Bupa, JCDecaux, Zuji and The Newspaper Works.
