Happy Soldiers’ Tontine pillows campaign wins top honours at Effies

Defunct agency Happy Soldiers won top honours at the Effies last night with its campaign for Tontine pillows.

Happy Soldiers’ idea – to put a ‘use by date’ on Tontine’s pillows – saw sales increase by 345% in the week of launch.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne was named ‘effective agency of the year’ for the second year in a row, having won ten effies.

Beleagured Y&R Brands agency The Campaign Palace was given reason for cheer, winning two bronzes for National Disability Services.

UM was the only media agency to claim an effie, winning for Unilever’s Streets Magnum brand and Xbox.
