Hardhat appoints Reece Ryan as creative director

Creative agency Hardhat has appointed Reece Ryan to the role of creative director.

Ryan joins the agency from The BIO Agency in London, where he was design director, responsible for design and creative services for clients including Savills and British Airways.

Prior to The BIO Agency, Ryan worked at Nimbletank as a freelance art director and senior designer as well as spending two years as creative director and owner for General Store Creative.

Commenting on his appointment, Ryan said: “After taking some time to scope the Melbourne scene, I’m excited to be joining an agency with a truly progressive approach to digital innovation that is underpinned by strong client relationships, working methodologies and a real sense of culture.

“I’m looking forward to working in with the very talented team and helping to drive our creative endeavours into the future.”

In his new role, Ryan will be responsible for leading the agency’s design and content teams.

Justin Kabbani, co-founder and managing director of Hardhat said Ryan was the perfect person to join the team as the agency continues to grow.

“His approach and experience really complement the way we think and will help propel us forward at this important juncture,” Kabbani said.

Hardhat’s clients include Melbourne Airport, NAB, Deakin University, Devondale Murray Goulburn, Baiada and Visit Victoria.
