Hardhat hires Andy Segal and Chris Hince as associate creative directors
Creative agency Hardhat has appointed Andy Segal and Chris Hince as associate creative directors to recently appointed ECD Glenn Dalton.
Previously, Segal and Hince were at GTB in Melbourne, working on the brand campaigns for Ford Australia. The pair have recently been freelancing as a senior writer and art director, respectively.
The pair first worked together at BWM Dentsu in 2011, where Segal was a senior writer and Hince was an art director. In 2013 they moved to JWT Melbourne.
Dalton said in a statement: “What Hincey and Andy bring to Hardhat is exactly what our growing list of clients are entrusting us to deliver – high calibre, big brand thinking that gets results. The fact that they are also two of the nicest guys in advertising is a bonus.”
Segal and Hince said of their appointments: “As soon as we walked into Hardhat, there was a real buzz about the place. After a month-long test drive as freelancers, we’re looking forward to kicking goals, getting runs on the board, and really mixing some metaphors.”
Hardhat has also recently appointed Sarah Tukua as client services director. In July, Issy Bonin was promoted from client services director to general manager.
Congrats Andy, well done.
