Hayman appoints Match

Luxury resort Hayman has appointed independent media agency Match to handle its media buying and planning.  

The announcement:

November 4, 2010: One of Australia’s most prestigious private island destinations, Hayman, has appointed Match to handle the Resort’s media planning and buying.

Match was awarded the business after a short, closed review and the agency will take on offline & online media planning and buying responsibilities, effective immediately.

The Resort’s budget is likely to increase significantly from historical spends as it evolves the ‘Hayman Experience’ theme including the addition of new Beach Villas and new services and activities to the island.

“We are currently undertaking a significant amount of work on the island and are seeking to ensure Hayman’s growth strategy in a very competitive environment” said Anna Guillan, Hayman executive general manager sales and marketing. “We were impressed with Match’s passion for their work and also with the way the agency incorporated targeted offline media recommendations with clear strategies in digital.”

Ian Czencz, strategy director at Match added, “This is a very high profile assignment in a very busy category. We are looking forward to assisting Hayman clearly distinguish itself and accelerate its strategy.”
