Mumbrella can reveal the company won the client after a four-way pitch last year, adding to existing consumer goods clients Capilano Honey, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, The Coffee Club and Lenard’s Chicken.

Jason Carnew, national general manager told Mumbrella securing Sushi Sushi as a client was a great win, continuing the group’s growth in the food and beverage area.

Haystac will aim to emphasise Sushi Sushi’s focus on health, freshness and quality through an integrated consumer and corporate PR campaign.

Gavan Meadows, general manager of franchise sales and marketing at Sushi Sushi, said: “We were hugely impressed by Haystac’s robust, strategic approach to our business needs and we look forward to working with them to further build the brand in 2017 and beyond.”

General Manager of Haystac Brisbane, Haylie Marchant, who was appointed in August last year after running the Brisbane office, said: “We’re thrilled to comence our partnership with Sushi Sushi and are confident our vast experience in the FMCG space will add significant value to the brand.

“We look forward to bringing this activity to market in 2017, starting with leveraging the brand’s partnership with Tennis Australia for this year’s Australian Open where Sushi Sushi will be retailing its high-quality products to both spectators and players.”
