The announcement:

Public relations firm Haystac has commenced 2014 on a high in Australia with a number of new wins across its divisions and offices, including ANZ, Australia Post, Goodyear and Schweppes as well as new projects with Tourism Queensland.

In addition to winning the consumer PR account for Officeworks late last year, Haystac’s consumer brands division has also been appointed by Spanish chocolateria San Churro, to manage its PR and influencer engagement nationally for its cafés.

Also won by the consumer division is the City of Melbourne’s Moomba Festival (following the agency’s appointment to Melbourne Spring Fashion Week last year), and the launch of ANZ’s new group brand campaign. Continuing its work with Schweppes, the consumer practice has also picked up a number of projects supporting key Schweppes brand campaigns throughout 2014.

In the agency’s corporate affairs division, new clients Australia Post and Insurance Box come into the stable.

Fifth Leg Wines has appointed Haystac’s digital & social media unit for an early 2014 campaign and Goodyear Dunlop Tyres has engaged the unit for a significant social media program over the course of the year.

Haystac’s Brisbane office has been awarded two new projects by Tourism Queensland and reappointed by Sanofi Consumer Healthcare across its Nature’s Own, Cenovis, Ostellin brands.

Haystac Brisbane has also been awarded an Autumn destination campaign to promote the Southern Queensland Country region for Tourism and Events Queensland.

“We’re delighted to have successfully attracted new accounts to Haystac and retain some significant existing clients over late-2013 and early-2014,” said Patrick O’Beirne, General Manager Haystac Australia.

“Undoubtedly strategic insights, creativity, experience and good account servicing has played a role in these wins, but we’re told it’s our culture and people that make a big difference, and this is particularly pleasing to hear. Our recent acquisitions are a testimony to the intelligence and dedication of our people but also their great nature and good humour.”
