Hello Social helps Audible spread the word on its Kids Profiles with new campaign

Audiobook provider Audible has worked with Hello Social to release a campaign to support the launch of the former’s Kids Profiles.

The ‘Are we there yet…’ platform features a 30-second hero film starring radio host and comedian, Ryan Fitzgerald (otherwise known as Fitzy), and his family.

While in the car, Fitzy’s son starts to ask the titular question before a pair of headphones is placed over his head and the voice of British thespian and writer, Stephen Fry, narrating Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling quiets him down.

“Australia’s greatest range of audiobooks for kids and their parents,” a voiceover states at the end of the film.

“We know that keeping the kids entertained isn’t always an easy task, especially when it comes to bedtime or long summer road trips,” said Audible Australia’s country manager, Ben Rolleston.

“With our new Kids Profiles and extensive kids and family catalogue, we’ve made it even easier to enrich and inspire young imaginations with storytelling.”

Audible’s Kids Profiles provide caretakers and parents with the ability to share child-appropriate audiobooks within a safe space that is controlled by them.

Its respective campaign is currently live on digital and social platforms. Several influencers were also involved with spreading the campaign’s message via videos showcasing “how specific kids’ audiobook profiles have positively impacted their lives”.

“As a busy parent, it’s great to have a practical and positive entertainment option that’s both good for my kids’ imagination and my sanity,” added Hello Social’s executive creative director Dan Fryer.

“And just like Fitzy, maybe next road trip I won’t have to threaten to turn the car around and go home.”

‘Are we there yet…’ launches at the end of the same year that saw Audible release ‘Bringing imagination to life’ – its first international brand marketing platform that demonstrates how Audible’s aural storytelling offering transports listeners into their own worlds.
