Hello Social set to relaunch as full-service agency

Hello Social is set to expand to a full-service offering, entering a new era in response to shifting tides and the need to break down traditional silos.

For over a decade, Hello Social has been a specialist digital marketing, social media, and influencer marketing agency, helping global brands deliver fully integrated content, ads, and more.

But times have changed, and so, too, has the traditional agency model.

“After 12 years of delivering cutting-edge social media for the world’s best brands, we are embarking on our next chapter,” said Sam Kelly, managing partner at Hello Social.

“We will formally be launching Hello – an integrated agency, delivering brand experience for the digital era.”

The new era of Hello Social will be unveiled at a 2025 upfront event at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art on Wednesday, February 12.

The event will feature speakers including Andrew Tindall, VP global partnerships at System1, Lucinda Barlow, head of international marketing at Uber and Louise Crompton, vice president, marketing & growth at Paramount+.

According to Hello Social, the average Australia is exposed to over one million branded messages each year, but only 0.3% get noticed. The agency works to build brand trust for clients, which will in turn entice customers and build loyalty. But now, culture is growing, and how brands play into that is key.

According to the agency’s recently commissioned 2025 Australian Marketing Leadership Survey, where over 150 senior marketers were surveyed on their most pressing challenges and opportunities for the year ahead, 32% of marketers flagged “the cost of activating a full village to deliver integrated work” as a leading frustration.

Other challenges included “speed and turnaround times” and the fact that “agencies are too siloed in their responses leading to disconnected plans”.

The research also found that 45% of marketers confirmed they’d be changing PR strategies to lean into creator-led publications.

“The tides are shifting faster than ever, and while we’re not scaling a business built on speed and agility, we are breaking down traditional silos to form a more connected offering that can move at the speed of culture,” Kelly concluded.

Limited RSVPs to the event are available.
