Hertz takes out airport supersites to showcase new car models
Hertz, the car rental company, has today launched an outdoor campaign to showcase its new car models, positioning them as “fun, prestige and green”.
The campaign, developed through Publicis Mojo and ZenithOptimedia, encompasses 33 airport supersites, with 17 different creative executions.
ZenithOptimedia partner, Martin McKinnon, said: “We found that high value car rental customers were five times more likely to travel by air on business, which made frequent, varied visibility around airports absolutely critical.”
The ads are featuring in 18 supersites in Sydney, four in Melbourne, six in Brisbane and more in Adelaide, Perth and the Gold Coast.
Why on earth would Hertz screw with their logo like that??

A hire care company advertises its cars using outdoor at an airport! How is this news?

Frequency is certainly not an issue if you have 18 outdoor ads in the Sydney airport precinct….and the communication is already worn out after one trip to the airport.
A bit of overkill?
