If you hark back to the original “Hey Hey”, this style of blatant scripted advertisement was ubiquitous.
Darryl’s performance style or method have not changed in this time, and I am sure neither have any of the other producers.
He is a walking advertisement and I dont understand anyone becoming too shocked by his under-rehearsed, suggestively desperate and appologetic style of presenting.
I just ask that the next time there is a viral campaign to bring back a bit of Aussie history, we think a little harder before signing up.
