Hill and Knowlton appoints Tim McPhail
Tim McPhail has been appointed to the role of senior adviser of government relations and public affairs at Hill & Knowlton.
The announcement:
SYDNEY, 25th November – Hill & Knowlton is delighted to announce that Tim McPhail will join its Government Relations and Public Affairs team as Senior Adviser on Monday.
Tim comes to Hill & Knowlton with more than a decade of experience in government and consulting. He has been a senior policy adviser to government with first-hand experience in the portfolio areas of Roads, Transport, Ports, Housing, Energy, Utilities (Water & Gas) and Police.
Specialising in infrastructure, public private partnerships, transport and government procurement, Tim has assisted numerous public, private and non-government organisations to successfully navigate a range of complex public policy areas.
“Tim has a well-developed knowledge of public policy frameworks and decision making processes,” H&K Managing Director, Marcus Warner, said. “He will strengthen our successful PA team under the leadership of Strategic Counsel, Jacquelynne Willcox.”
Before joining Hill & Knowlton, Tim headed the Sydney office of a national communications consultancy, managing a team of senior public affairs professionals.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Business and is currently completing his Masters of Business Administration at the Australian Graduate School of Management.
