HM Communications Group makes new hires and announces four new business wins

Independent HM Communications Group has made three new hires, including announcing including Bhanu Singh as its head of digital, and announcing four new business wins.

The announcement: 

HM wrap up the year bolstering the team with 3 new members – Bhanu Singh from Zenith Optimedia who will head up Digital, Belinda Tan and Ellie Larrarte.

The 4 new business wins have been across Creative and Media including Church & Dwight brands Nair, First Response and Pearl Drops, financial business Ausbil, RCG brands CAT and Merrell. As well as Kelly + Partners after a 2 way pitch against Nunn Media.

New Business Win #1 – Church and Dwight Video and Print Creative

With a fresh new look for the brand, HM launched the Nairs new range of Sensitive hair removal products in close collaboration with the client Church and Dwight and Maxus.

In addition to outdoor media, the focus for the campaign was on digital display and pre-roll with the creative telling the story a fashion lover, the active girl and the busy mum with the insight that beinghair free gives them the freedom to enjoy every possibility of their lives.

New Business Win #2 – Ausbil

Ausbil appointed HM Communication Group to their creative and media account.

The idea was to combine and individually feature three key Senior Ausbil partners each with a Lion, Tiger and Owl to highlight the animalistic qualities ‘strength,’ ‘wisdom’ and ‘agility’ – attributes that help differentiate the business from its competitors.

Creative director for the campaign Mike Boswell said “This new association allowed us to re- establish Ausbil’s local boutique image, reinforced by the rock solid credentials of NYLIM. Ausbil needed the advertising to punch way above its media spend and cut through the clutter of the local investment market advertising.”

Paul Xiradis, Chief Executive Officer of Ausbil Investment Management, said: “HM did a great job with our latest advertising campaign. They came up with a terrific creative idea that has achieved real cut-through for us in what is a competitive marketplace.”

New Business Win #3 – RCG

Footwear group RCG have appointed HM Communication Group as their media partner to launch arange of CAT Clothing workwear and to increase their Merrell brand’s sales in key retail locations.

CAT Clothing have worked closely with The Block talent Dale Vine to creative a series of videos highlighting the benefits of the new clothing range with a humorous tone – promoted across

TubeMogul’s video network, across Fitness First gyms, and in pubs and clubs in trade-heavy areas of Australia.

New Business Win #4 – Kelly + Partners

Kelly + Partners after a pitch against Nunn Media appointed HM to develop the media plan and social content.
