Sydney MD of Carat moves to Facebook
The managing director of Carat’s Sydney office, Dan Sinfield, will be moving to Facebook in the new year to head a new Australian FMCG unit.
Sinfield joined Carat from OMD in 2014 where he led programmatic and trading.
Paul Brooks, CEO of Carat ANZ told Mumbrella: “We’d like to thank Dan for his contribution to the business over the last three years – he’s been a great leader and valued member of our Sydney team, and we wish him all the best.
“We’re currently in the process of confirming his replacement. Change is exciting – we look forward to welcoming some great new talent to the business in 2018, and will continue to build on the strong momentum of a very successful 2017.”
Facebook had no official comment but confirmed Sinfield would be joining the company at the end of January.
During his career, Sinfield spent nearly five years with GroupM agency Mindshare as business director before rejoining OMD, the company he started his career with sixteen years previously, in Sydney in 2014.
