Holland America Line and Lindt Chocolate sign partnership deal

Holland America Line has partnered with Lindt Chocolate, launching via an exclusive event via Seven Communications.

The announcement:

Holland America Line has celebrated their partnership with Lindt Chocolate through an exclusive wine and chocolate tasting event, held in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

Working in collaboration with independently owned, full service communications agency Seven Communications, the event was held at Kittyhawk’s intimate event space and attended by key trade, travel and mainstream media. Guests were treated to a selection of wines and decadent chocolate from Lindt as they learned of the cruise line’s upcoming European voyages.

Alex Pikardt, Director of Sales at Holland America Line said, “Sweet surprises on board include a signature tulip-shaped Lindt chocolate mousse cake, which is reflective of the enduring Dutch symbol and Holland America Line’s founding in the Netherlands. Guests can already enjoy the tulip-shaped Lindt chocolate mousse cake aboard Rotterdam on its Dutch Day dinner menu in the Dining Room and will be fleetwide as of August 2024.”

“It was a pleasure to welcome guests to the Kittyhawk in celebration of this partnership indulging in some iconic wine and chocolate, almost as if we were at sea.” added Alex.

Food has always been integral to the Holland America Line experience, with every aspect of on board dining carefully considered and executed with world-class capability and care. Their partnership with Lindt continues to embody this commitment allowing guests to savour the journey and indulge in special moments.

Beginning summer 2024, guests will be able to enjoy a Lindt Sundae including vanilla ice cream topped with a custom-made Lindt chocolate sauce, as well as Lindt chocolate tulips one night per cruise in the Dining Room on the Dutch Day dinner menu.
