Home and Away on Seven tops Thursday entertainment; Ten’s Gogglebox wins key advertising demos

Seven’s Home and Away topped Thursday entertainment programming, while Ten’s Gogglebox won all three key advertising demos.

The drama show pulled in 421,000 metro viewers, followed by The Chase Australia, also on Seven, with 412,000 metro audience.

Ten’s Gogglebox aired to 405,000 metro viewers, while a late screening of Home and Away on Seven attracted 376,000 metro viewers.

The Thursday Night NRL Live brought in 362,000 metro viewers for Nine, while 304,000 metro viewers watched Ten’s new format Taskmaster.

Nine network won the night with a 29.3% overall share, followed by Seven with 25.2%, Ten with 19.7% and ABC with 16.2%.

The top-rated primary channel on Thursday was Nine with a 21.4% share, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 4.1%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 2 March, Seven News was the #1 program nationally with 1.269 million Total TV viewers, including 32,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%.

However, the program with the biggest uplift was Ten’s Gogglebox with 39%, with 747,000 total TV audience and 26,000 on national BVOD.
