Hoozu acquires Australian talent management agency to grow APAC footprint

Influencer marketing agency Hoozu, a subsidiary of IZEA Worldwide Inc, has acquired an Australian talent management agency, in an effort to strengthen its capabilities and grow its footprint in the APAC region.

Renowned for its representation of top-tier influencers and creators, 26 Talent has offered robust management and innovative marketing solutions. After five years in market, the agency will be folded into Huume, Hoozu’s talent representation business.

26 Talent’s founder and CEO, Mikhailla Fitzgerald, will lead Huume, reporting to Hoozu’s CEO, Natalie Giddings.

“Joining forces with Hoozu opens up remarkable opportunities for our talent and clients,” Fitzgerald commented.

“We are thrilled to become part of a forward-thinking company that shares our commitment to excellence and innovation in influencer marketing.”

Giddings said 26 Talent’s roster of talent and its approach to marketing perfectly aligned with Hoozu’s growth mission. As part of a wider strategy to build a diverse and robust portfolio of services and talent, the acquisition reinforces the company’s aim to be an industry leader in the APAC region.

“This acquisition not only broadens our capabilities but also enhances the value we bring to our clients and creators,” she explained.

“At Hoozu, one of our core mandates is to champion creators to ensure they have the support and opportunities needed to thrive. The industry is moving at an incredible velocity, and by integrating 26 Talent’s expertise and network, we are well-positioned to lead this dynamic market and drive forward impactful, innovative campaigns for our clients and creators.”
