Hort Innovation appoints TBWA Sydney and Eleven to creative, PR and social

TBWA Sydney and Eleven have been appointed by Hort Innovation to its agency roster following an competitive pitch process.

For the initial three-year contract, the agencies will be responsible for the creative, social and PR, for the fresh produce brands managed by Hort Innovation, including Australian Apples, Australian Avocados, Australian Cherries , Australian Mangoes, and Australian Mushrooms.

In 2017, Hort Innovation reappointed Ikon Group to its media services account. As the agency expanded its services into creative, Ikon followed up the appointment by producing campaigns for a number of Hort Innovation’s brands.

Hort Innovation appointed Atomic 212 to its media planning and buying earlier this year. The agency planned and implemented the Good Mood Food campaign for the brand.

Hort Innovation is a grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australia’s $12.6 billion horticulture industry.

Hort Innovation general manager of marketing and international trade, Justine Coates, said TBWA’s objective would be to grow household consumption and demand for Australian produce.

“We are delighted to appoint TBWA to the Hort Innovation agency roster and partner with such an outstanding team as we undertake a portfolio approach to the marketing of fresh Aussie produce,” Coates said.

“TBWA will be pivotal in working with Hort Innovation to drive demand for a variety of produce, grow household consumption an contribute to building the health and wellbeing of Australian communities.”
