Hotwire hires program directors Caroline La Rose and Krissie Vitasa to lead its evolving tech business unit

PR agency, Hotwire, has hired Caroline La Rose and Krissie Vitasa as program directors.

Together, the pair will be growing Hotwire’s evolving tech business unit, which will see La Rose and Vitasa develop communications plans that support the transformation and brand awareness of its B2B tech clients, including recent additions Brennan IT, Nuance, Lenovo Data Centre Group.

Caroline La Rose and Krissie Vitasa have joined Hotwire as program directors

Most recently, La Rose spent five months at Thrive as an account director. Prior to that, she was a senior media advisor at Kicker Communications and spent three years at Espresso Communications, leaving as senior account manager.

Vitasa joins from business news publication, Stockhead, where she spent 5 months as account director. Previously, she was at Media & Capital Partners holding roles including senior account manager and senior account director. Vitasa has also worked at Aon Australia and WE Buchan – now WE Communications.

Hotwire has also hired Ricki Bui as associate program executive.

Mylan Vu, managing director at Hotwire Australia, said of the appointments: “The development of the Evolving Tech business unit was a natural evolution for Hotwire following the growth of the agency within this exciting space. We have a growing demand from well-established technology organisations to cut through the noise among a shrinking media pool and growing demand for personalised content.

“At Hotwire, we understand these brands need specialised skillsets, which is why we continue to invest in bringing on board and growing our expert team with the goal of consistently delivering best of breed capabilities in this sector.

“Caroline, Krissie and Ricki join Hotwire at an opportune time and their deep knowledge of the technology and communications industries will be invaluable as we hone in on tackling communications and business challenges in highly disrupted industries for our long-standing and new clients.”
