House Rules finale drops nearly 700,000 viewers on last year as The Voice wins night
Last night saw 1.295m metro viewers tune in to see Sydney-based father and daughter Steve and Tiana Falzon crowned the winners of Seven’s House Rules, with the show’s grand final watched by 1.097m.
The winner announcement was down on last year’s which saw 1.988m metro viewers tune in. However it was well up on the show’s debut, which saw it grab 791,000 despite the show being road-blocked across all Seven’s channels.
While it was not enough to win in the competitive 7.30pm timeslot, with Nine’s The Voice taking home that crown with a metro audience of 1.362m, it did out-rate Ten’s Masterchef which saw 1.07m metro viewers tune in to see advertising creative Sara Oteri ousted in its final week.

I thought Hotel Hell was on Seven?
What’s wrong with SEVEN ?
House Rules final didn’t pull the audience they would have expected, DWTS struggled with its launch and their Monday nights are generally way off the mark.
Has the ratings bubble burst over there at Pyrmont ?
Sydney2100 my thoughts exactly. Dwts has Shane borne as host whose genius idea was that?watched it last night recorded version. He wore an ill fitting suit had no repartee that Daniel had and is too old for the demographic and the couples. Wld have been diff if the couples were elderly.
