What with Monday’s accidental despatch of a press release with the less than compelling headline “Heading 3”, Dr Mumbo was initially inclined to let this one from the IAB go through to the keeper as a kindness.
But as it’s now been forwarded to him by three different people, he feels he can’t resist:
So we can probably identify who’s not going to win digital marketer of the year.
Maybe the reason this has not had any comments is that as digital marketers, its a case of “there but for the grace of god go I” !!
I remember when Virgin Blue (as they were known) sent their entire EDM database free upgrades to Gold membership. The withdrawl came a a few minutes later but I bet there was one or two members who stood their ground a talked their way into a gold upgrade.

Agrees with @Tony. We’ve all been there, and laughing at someone about doing it really just guarantees that it will happen to you. Karma and all.
