Howorth Communications wins Riverbed Technology PR account

WPP AUNZ’s Howorth Communications has been appointed to Riverbed Technology’s public relations account to raise the technology company’s brand awareness in Australia and New Zealand.

Ogilvy Public Relations’ specialist technology agency said it would drive an integrated communications strategy and content program across all earned and owner channels.

White said “It was clear Riverbed was looking for a trusted advisor and a communications partner”

Graham White, Howorth’s managing director, said in a statement: “The RFP Riverbed issued was a great opportunity for Howorth to present a different communications approach – one that stayed true to delivering some of the key media influencer deliverables associated with an enterprise technology account, but also took a story-first, cross-channel approach to drive real and measurable business impact.”

Karin Neighorn, director, corporate communications, Riverbed Technology, Asia Pacific and  Japan, said: “Howorth demonstrated throughout the process it had a team with an in-depth understanding of our sector and our business.”

Other clients of Howorth’s include: Ancestry, Canon, Getty Images, HubSpot and American Express.
