Hoyts seeks to expand its events business in new campaign with Brightworks

Hoyts has released a new campaign to promote its corporate solutions events, in collaboration with Brightworks.

The campaign seeks to expand Hoyts’ events business by demonstrating the range of options available to customers, from private screenings to birthday parties.

The campaign will be executed across cinema, out-of-home and online platforms.

Ellisa Woodham, general manager of corporate solutions and partnerships at Hoyts, stated: “The project was born out of the belief that every single person, every single business small or large, is a potential customer for us, and we’re able to offer many compelling and affordable uses for our cinemas.

“We wanted to create an emotive and informative TVC creative, designed to educate people on the many ‘private hire’ applications for our amazing cinemas, while capturing the personal and emotional connection that people tend to have with cinema.

“We believe this TVC strategy will play an integral role in growing our private cinema hire business by talking and educating potential customers who didn’t even know these options were possible.”

Cameron D’Acry, co-founder and filmmaker at Brightworks, added: “As filmmakers ourselves we loved being part of the a campaign that celebrates the film industry.

“The concept behind the campaign is that every Hoyts experience is unique and special, and can be tailored to your requirements, from birthday celebrations to private screenings for employees or brand promotions.”
