Hunt for the next Planning Idol begins
A strategy for youth homelessness is the topic to be tackled in this year’s Planning Idol competition, organised the Account Planning Group.
The Planning Idol challenge, which takes place every two years, is designed to find the best planner aged under 30.
This year’s brief comes from Sydney charity Oasis, with the winner getting a trip to the 2010 AAAA Planning Conference in the US.
The last winner Mollie Hill – who devised the winning strategy for tackling Ice addiction – went on to secure a job as strategic planner. She now works at JWT.
The competition includes a written entry followed by individual presentations from the finalists to a panel of planning directors.
The deadline is Friday October 30 and anyoner under 30 can enter, regardless of whether they currently work in the industry, so logn as they are or become an APG member.
