The Iconic appoints new CEO

The Iconic has appointed Patrick Schmidt as CEO.

The announcement:

The Iconic, Australia’s fastest-growing online fashion retailer, is cementing its status as the market’s #1 online fashion retailer with the appointment of online executive Patrick Schmidt as CEO.

Mr Schmidt has a proven track record of building market-leading ecommerce companies. He brings 12 years’ experience in the Online, Retail and Marketing sector, and joins The Iconic as CEO from his recent role as International Vice President of Groupon Latin America where he headed nine countries and 2000 employees.

Previously Mr Schmidt co-founded Groupon Australia and led the company to market leadership as its CEO.

As CEO, Mr Schmidt plans to focus on exceeding customer expectations through a superior product range, continuous innovation and operational excellence.
