If you can’t say anything nice…
Dr Mumbo’s day always brightens when a press release arrives from the splendidly, erm, non-mainstream Citizens Electoral Council of Australia.
And this weekend’s diatribe against The West Australian certainly didn’t disappoint:
“Upon being informed that the West Australian newspaper had run a snide, lying little attack against the CEC and Lyndon LaRouche in its 31st October “Rob Broadfield’s IC Weekend with Daniel Hatch” column, CEC National Secretary Craig Isherwood chuckled, “Need something for your dog to poop on? Something to wrap the fish in? The West Australian’s just the ticket.”
“Under the possibly autobiographical subhead, “Strange Bedfellows”, columnists Blob Broadfield and Spaniel Hatch bragged that they had intimidated the WA State School Teachers’ Union (SSTU) into removing from its website a link to a CEC-authored article, “The True History of the Founding of Australia”. Either Blob or his poodle Spaniel called SSTU head David Kelly, lying that LaRouche and the CEC are “anti-Semitic”, and then demanding, “Does the SSTU endorse LaRouche’s [non-existent] anti-semitism?””
Gold!
