Ignite Media Brands unveiled as name of new pay TV sales house

Ignite Media logo, MumbrellaThe recently merged sales house Full Circle and the MTV advertising force has unveiled the new operation will be named Ignite Media Brands.  

An announcement of the merger was made in May. Ignite Media Brands will represent on-air and online brands including MTV, MTV Classic, The Music Factory (TMF), Nickelodeon and Nick Jr, mtv.com.au, neopets.com and shockwave.com, TV1, SCI FI Channel, Movie One and Two, Movie Extra, Movie Greats, Family Movie Channel, World Movies, Stvdio, CNBC, Starpics 1, Starpics 2, Starpics HD, Aurora, crackle.com, imdb.com and Vidzone.

The sales house is being headed by Full Circle founder Brian Gallagher, in the role of chief executive.

The team, which is now operational, has moved into its new office alongside MTV in East Sydney and will be formally trading from July 1.

Ignite Media Brands stakeholders include Viacom, CBS Studios International, NBC Universal and Sony Pictures Television.
