Ikon wins Metagenics’ media account

Ikon has become the media agency of record for natural medicine provider Metagenics.

The agency is responsible for media strategy, planning, buying and implementation immediately across the Australian and New Zealand markets. In addition, it will also handle data management, CRM, and performance media channels.

“Our approach to strategic communications, coupled with passion for the client and category, put us ahead in the pitch process,” said Adam Hickey, Ikon Brisbane’s agency director.

Metagenics’ head of retail marketing, Brett Ballantine, added that the vitamins and supplements company was “looking for a single agency who could provide a broad capability stretching far beyond just media planning and buying”.

Ikon also won Lindt’s media account earlier this month.
