I’m A Celebrity wins Tuesday entertainment and key demos; Nine takes the night

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Ten topped entertainment programming on Tuesday, airing to 518,000 metro viewers while topping all three key advertising demos.

The show launched on Sunday as the ‘welcome to the jungle’ slot brought in 596,000 metro viewers. This is the last season of the show with its long-standing host, Chris Brown, who will join Seven Network later this year.

Seven’s The Chase Australia aired to 492,000 metro viewers on Tuesday night, followed by the network’s Home and Away with 463,000 metro viewers.

David Attenborough’s Frozen Planet II on Nine attracted 407,000 metro viewers, followed by Hot Seat on the network with 337,000.

The #1 program on Tuesday night was Seven News and Seven News at 6:30 with 928,000 metro viewers respectively, followed by Nine News at 6:30 and Nine News with 732,000 metro viewers respectively.

Nine Network won the night with a 26.7% overall share, followed by Seven with 24.9%, Ten with 21.1% and ABC with 18.3%.

The top-rated primary channel on Tuesday was Nine with 19.3%, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.6%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 28 March, Seven News was the #1 program nationally with 1.389 million Total TV viewers, including 38,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%.

However, the program with the biggest uplift of 47% was The Good Doctor on Seven with 407,000 Total TV audience and 45,000 on national BVOD.
