Impact makes two senior appointments, including new APAC marketing director Ayaan Mohamud

Partnership automation company Impact has appointed Ayaan Mohamud as its first APAC marketing director, responsible for strategy and execution.

Mohamud joins from Sizmek, where she held a number of senior regional roles for more than four years, including as APAC marketing director. In addition, Steve Arnold has been named solutions architect, helping brands and agencies to optimise their partnership programs.

“We continue to see growth across the region as organisations harness the revenue generation opportunities partnership programs offer,” said Impact’s APAC managing director, Adam Furness, to whom both Mohamud and Arnold will report.

“Key to our continued success is having the best talent in the business and both Ayaan and Steve have significant expertise in their respective fields. I’m delighted to welcome both to the growing Impact APAC team and I look forward to working alongside them as we continue to drive the business forward.”

Arnold joins from Media Lab, where he was director of technology and data for the media planning and buying arm of Westpac’s portfolio, including Westpac, St George and Bank SA. Previously, he worked at App Nexus. In his new role at Impact, he will also be responsible for market education on fraud prevention techniques and both offline and online attribution measurement.

Impact has recently expanded across the APAC region, opening offices in Singapore and China.
