Impressive hires Theodora Alex as head of client services Melbourne

Independent marketing agency, Impressive, has appointed Theodora Alex to the newly created role of head of client services for Melbourne.

Alex will be leading a team of 14 people, with the goal of strengthening the agency’s client service offering. She will also be joining the leadership team.

Alex is the new head of client services at Impressive

Alex has spent the past 10 years freelancing and contracting as a marketing communications consultant. Previously, she has spent time at CHE Proximity, TBWA, Early Learning Group and Frontier Advertising.

Alex said the decision to step into a permanent role was a difficult one.

“The big decision was committing to a full-time role after 10 years freelance consulting to familiar Melbourne agencies and brands. It was Robert’s vision, business model, values and thriving culture that made joining Impressive a natural fit. I’m most excited about being part of the creation of Impressive 2.0 and guiding the team to deliver a best in class customer experience,” Alex said.

In March last year, Impressive opened an office in Austin, Texas, led by general manager Russ Macumber.

Impressive founder and CEO, Robert Tadros, said: “We searched high and low to bring in the best of the best to manage our client services department. We focus on delivering strategic solutions rather than just ‘selling a service’, and I was looking for the kind of skill and experience that will help us navigate our way to becoming the most recognised independent agency in Australia.

“I’ve always said that if I’m the smartest person in the room, I’m in the wrong place. Theodora is the epitome of a true ‘client partner’. She will strengthen our existing portfolio, build new client relationships and will also be an integral part of growing our Texas office with US GM Russ Macumber. I can’t wait to see what she brings to the table.”

Recently, Impressive has won contracts with Metro Trains, State Trustees, Hotondo Homes, Harrolds, Bevilles and Viktoria & Woods.
