Indie agency Loud appointed to Lipton’s creative account

Unilever has appointed independent agency Loud to the local creative account for Lipton’s tea range.

The competitive pitch process resulted in Loud being charged with strategic, creative and social advertising, in addition to developing Lipton’s new brand campaign, which will start this month.

“LOUD demonstrated a deep cultural understanding of the Australian market and a genuine enthusiasm for the Lipton brand that stood out through the pitch process,” said Monica Reyes, Lipton’s marketing manager ANZ and managed geographies.

“We’re excited about this partnership and look forward to launching our new campaign and a series of innovative products with the LOUD team.”

Loud CEO Lorraine Jokovic added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Lipton and are thrilled to have been chosen to make our mark on a brand that has been loved by Australians for over a century.

“We’re proud of our expertise in the cultural connection of brands and people.”

In 2014, Loud relaunched with a new management team, led by Jokovic, who has been with the agency for 24 years.
