Pivotus continues to expand its senior team, as the independent media agency reveals four new appointments across its strategy, trading, accounts and performance verticals.

Ruther Chan, Audrey Fitte-Umark, Anjan Ramesh and Divya Singh have all either joined the agency or been promoted as Pivotus strengthens its national footprint.

Audrey Fitte-Umark has been promoted from account director to strategy director, after joining Pivotus in 2019. She previously worked at Havas, Admatic and BBC Worldwide, and in her time at Pivotus follows campaigns for clients including JLL, University of Tasmania and RACT Insurance.

Anjan Ramesh joins Pivotus from InMobi where he served as programmatic lead. He’ll now step into the role of head of trading, leading a team of trading and ops staff across all clients. He has previous experience programmatic buying in-house at Foxtel, and has also worked with eBay and AOL.

Pivotus has also appointed Ruther Chan as account director in Melbourne, after he spent four and a half years with the Dentsu Aegis Network as DentsuX senior investment manager. He brings 12 years experience in media planning and buying, and digital investment, and has worked at Xavis and Mediacom in Singapore.

Finally, Divya Singh comes across from Reprise Adelaide into the role of performance manager, and she’ll lead search and paid social for Pivotus’ largest client portfolio, strengthening its digital media buying and international expertise. She has experience working with Consider iProspect in Malaysia, Performics Convonix and Group M in India.

Pivotus is currently recruiting for a performance executive to support Singh in her role.

The agency also recently hired former Mediacom Vietnam MD Lam Le as the dedicated account manager on the University of Tasmania account last September, after winning the account the month prior.

The agency went on to be appointed to the media account for the insurance offering from the Royal Automotive Club of Tasmania – RACT Insurance, in October 2020.

CEO Michael Petersen said: “With new clients the University of Tasmania and RACT Insurance, and more wins to be announced shortly, we wanted to expand our team and our broader media and strategy credentials. 2020 was a year when many businesses needed to pivot online to follow consumer behaviour, and that continues unabated.

“The promotion of Audrey, along with the experience and quality credentials that Anjan, Ruther and Divya bring to the agency, are skill sets clients have already found very valuable.”
