Inskin Media appoints new CEO as Hugo Drayton steps down
Inskin Media chief operating officer Matt Newcomb will step up as CEO of the adtech business following the departure of longtime leader Hugo Drayton.
The change will take place at the end of 2019, and also see Iain Jacob take up the helm as chairman.
Drayton has led Inskin Media since it launched a decade ago. Newcomb has worked alongside Drayton in London for two years, after launching and building the business’ Australian arm during three years in Sydney. Newcomb has worked for companies including News Corp and Fairfax in his career.
Drayton will stay on as director of the Inskin board and will be engaged in a strategic and consulting role with the business.
Jacob has been a non-executive director on the Inskin board for the past year and is a former CEO of Publicis EMEA. He will replace Andrew Walmsley as chairman of the company, who is stepping down after five years. Walmsley will remain as a director.
The Inskin board thanked Drayton and Walmsley for their huge contribution to the business over many years and is happy the pair will stay connected to the company.
Drayton said: “It has been a huge privilege to lead Inskin during the past decade. The time is now right for a change, both for me personally and for the business, as we continue to adapt to a challenging, ever-evolving market. I am proud of our achievements, of the quality of our work, and especially of the fantastic teams that we have created, around the world; and I am very happy that the new team, led by Matt, Mark, Reda and Jemma, will lead Inskin to new growth and success.”
Wrong move channel 7! Why are people so unkind. Feeling let down yet again. I think I’ll be choosing a different direction to channel 7.

How sad to see Jason Hodges go from Better homes and gardens. Channel 7 what is your reason and what are you thinking. You get rid of Jason and keep Graham Ross. Can not believe it. You say it is a fond farewell yet he is gutted. Guess he didn’t have a say in going. The show will not be the same.

Need to do something about the chefs you have on there especially fast Ed

The best segment on BH&G was Jason’s achievable landscaping makeovers. Seriously, thought should be given to culling one of the cooking segments. The show is about homes and gardens. There is a plethora of other cooking shows out there. Axing the review of architect homes would have been a better option. I switch channels when these segments come on.

Boy what a BIG mistake. Jason was the most interesting and talented person on the show. Whilst the cast seemed to have nice personalities, most of their creations especially Graham Ross are boring and old fashion. Jason added some humour and creativity to the show. Watch the ratings go down. Jason you will be sadly missed and only hope that you land a better job. Even though this is only my comment you have been a great discussion with so many friends andnot one of them agreed with what the producers did to you. Good luck for your future

Sad to see Jason go. Who knows the real reason why he is leaving. I record the show, so I can fast forward the motoring section.
