iPhone AppStore is product of the year

The Apple iPhone’s AppStore has been named as the best digital lifestyle product of the year.

Marketers are only just getting to grips with the service, which has so far seen developers sell and give away more than 10,00 applications. One marketing success story has been the award-winning Carling iPhone pint (obviously it would have to be a schooner over here).

Other items on the top ten digital lifestyle products included Google’s Android operating system for mobile devices, video service Hulu and the takeoff of the Netbook category.
