Ireckon partners with US software firm to launch new agency

Brisbane-based web services agency Ireckon has partnered with American marketing software firm BlueGlass Interactive to launch a full service interative marketing agency. The new company has been named BlueGlass Australia.

The new outfit’s competitive edge, noted Ireckon’s founder Darryl King, lies in the tools it can offer marketers, developed in the US, that he says are all too rare in Australia.

“By teaming up with BlueGlass, we are able to get to market quicker with new content production and enterprise level search marketing tools,” said King.

The agency will begin life with a team of 16 of the two firms’ existing staff. nd King is looking to make hires in search analytics, pay per click marketing and account management as the company grows.

“Making Australia the first step in our global expansion was a relatively easy decision,” said Greg Boser, president of services and products at BlueGlass Interactive.

“It was fueled by a growing need for marketing services in Australia, a strong, stable economy and a partner that shared our vision for where online marketing services are going.”
