Jacob’s Creek Open Film Series with Andre Agassi are back for the third year running, designed to air during the 2014 Australian Open.

The series, created by CumminsRoss and filmed in the US, celebrates Jacob Creek’s tennis sponsorships, and aims to reveal the true character of tennis and its stars.

“The ‘Open Film Series’ will feature across all Jacob’s Creek platforms including the in precinct activation space, broadcast integration with Channel 7 and a significant digital presence.”

The first series in 2012 explored Agassi’s “inner world” and what made him stay true to himself throughout his career while the second series in 2013 introduced his brother Phillip and his trainer Gil Reyes to give their perspective on Agassi.

This year’s series, currently being broadcast on the Seven Network,  introduces Agassi’s wife, former World No. 1  tennis player Steffie Graf and father Mike.

Seven Network’s head of sport Saul Stein said in a statement: “These films are amazing. Some of the best work I have seen in 35 years of working in sport.”

The previous campaigns have won both Cannes Lion and One Show Pencil Awards for branded content, and the content plays as part of the television broadcast of the Australian Open and incur no media cost for Jacob’s Creek.
