Jason Olive joins Clemenger BBDO Melbourne as communications planner

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has appointed Jason Olive as a communications planner.

Olive joins the highly awarded creative agency from his previous stint at Mediabrands Society where he was the head of strategy and content for over two years.

Olive started in the role earlier in December

Joining Mediabrands Society in 2015, Olive developed two new divisions for the Melbourne operation, implemented a new innovation approach to new business and assisted in joining communications and media strategy together, according to his LinkedIn.

Olive has also worked in the United Kingdom for Truffle Social for three years between 2010 and 2013.

Last month Carmela Soares joined Clemenger BBDO Melbourne as an executive creative director after winning the NAB Business Bank’s digital account in October.

In June, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne won agency of the year and 56 Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival.

One month later, Ant Keogh – the agency’s chief creative officer – departed the agency.

The agency also saw a leadership shakeup in September when Gayle While was announced as the agency’s deputy CEO and Simon Lamplough was promoted to managing director.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has been approached for comment.
