Jerrycan director moves TVC house
Julius Avery has left Renegade Films to join TVC production house Cherub Pictures.
Avery’s short film Jerrycan won the Jury Prize at the 61st Cannes Film Festival in 2008, in addition to the AFI and and Australian Directors Guild award.
Avery joins a group of directors whcih includes Nash Edgerton, Cate Shortland, Andrew Dominik and John Curran.
