Jetset launches Helloworld as part of Droga5 rebranding

Travel company Jetset Travel Group which runs brands including Jetset, Harvey World Travel and Travelworld is to rebrand many of its franchises under a new Helloworld brand.

Helloworld

The new brand was created by creative agency Droga5, which also has airline Qantas as a client, and will see more than 1000 franchisees in the group have the option over the next 18 months of taking up the new brand.

“We believe that helloworld will change the way Australians choose to travel,” said Rob Gurney, CEO of Jetset Travel Group.

“The existing portfolio of brands has served our members and franchisees well over many years. However, by building critical mass under a new, contemporary brand, we will drive stronger economic alignment, build purchasing power and scale and secure key supplier relationships,” he said.

The changes come about after extensive market research by Jetset.

The new Helloworld retail network will also be supported by a long-term strategic partnership with US-based online travel company Orbitz Worldwide which will see the Jetset utilising Orbitz technology.
